This assignment replicates an authentic process that school leaders conduct each

This assignment replicates an authentic process that school leaders conduct each year. Reviewing the prior and current budget against the school’s CIP/SIP and the data gathered from the needs assessment are required for the principal to plan and develop the upcoming budget. This process could also reveal accomplishments in goals and help set new improvement goals for the future. Allocate at least 5 hours in the field to support this field experience. This assignment requires the review of a full site budget, not just one area. (A sample budget is provided if you are unable to access your school’s budget.). Part 1: Collaborate Engage in a collaborative discussion with your principal or another school principal about planning a site budget and request to review the school’s current and previous year’s budget, as well as their CIP/SIP. After reviewing the two budgets and the CIP/SIP, ask the principal to describe how the current budget was developed, including: Development timeframe Stakeholders involved in the process How needs were identified Process of defense and modification District technology requirements and their effects on the budget process Review the differences between the current budget and the previous budget, asking the principal to provide insight on any differences. Discuss to what degree the principal thinks the budget realistically supports the CIP/SIP. Part 2: Budgetary Needs Assessment Survey Administer the online needs assessment survey that you created in Topic 3 to six or more faculty and staff identified by you and the principal mentor. Use any remaining field experience hours to observe and assist the principal mentor. Part 3: Schoolwide Budgetary Needs Assessment Summary and Reflection In 750-1,000 words, summarize your schoolwide budgetary needs assessment, addressing: Background information: An overview of the school (e.g., student demographics, community profile, major programs) Current budget expenditures Current budget revenue Key findings from comparing last year’s budget, this year’s budget, and the current CIP/SIP Key findings from analyzing the results of the assessment surveys 2-3 preliminary suggestions you might make, based on the needs assessment data you presented Reflect on how conducting a formalized needs assessment is an important step in promoting continuous and sustainable school improvement. Incorporate PSEL standards into your reflection. Describe how you will apply what you have learned to your future professional practice. While APA style format is not required for the body of this assignment, solid academic writing is expected, and PSEL standards should be referenced using APA documentation guidelines, which can be found in the APA Style Guide, located in the Student Success Center.

Use a checklist that allows you to assess the classroom environment and the use

Use a checklist that allows you to assess the classroom environment and the use of developmentally appropriate practices and materials. Spend some time in an early childhood education environment evaluating what you see happening and the way the classroom is organized.
You may search for an existing checklist used in state or national evaluations, or create your own from existing ones. Remember to focus on the environment, which includes physical set-up and how the teacher sets expectations and models respectful treatment of others, or how the teacher encourages students to understand ideas from different perspectives.
Then create a report in which you:
Explain how the assessment was appropriate for the environment being assessed and evaluate what you found (include the checklist).
Offer suggestions about what you would change to improve the learning environment for both students and teachers. If you were a school administrator, how might you address these issues with a teacher? Are there professional development opportunities for teachers that would improve the learning environment?
Identify other questions about early childhood education environments raised by your observation that would require further study or research to answer. What interests you about these questions and why are they important?
*** The checklist that I chose is the ECERS checklist for a Kindergarten classroom. I’ve attached the checklist format down below.***

A major requirement for EDGI-510 is to identity and critically investigate a topic of scholarly or professional interest related to the course themes. The final paper will consist of a 10- to 12-page research paper based on your analysis and critical synthesis of relevant theoretical and empirical literature. Please submit a one-page ‘provisional’ proposal that describes the direction you want the paper to take. The proposal should answer the following: What problem is to be studied? Why is it worth studying? And, what questions will guide the study? 1. What problem is to be studied? Your answer to this should include a provisional ‘problem statement.’ The problem statement should anchor the focus of the paper in the context of any of the themes, topics, or problems in the study of culture, society and education in comparative perspective. 2. Why is it worth studying? Explain the importance of the problem. In other words, look at your problem statement and ask yourself, “So what?” Your proposal, in other words, should explain clearly the rationale for why you believe the problem is worth investigating. Hint: if you’re not passionate about it, don’t expect the reader to be either. Your rationale should be grounded in relevant readings from this course and supplemented with pertinent outside sources from the theoretical and empirical literature. You must include with your proposal a provisional list of sources from the relevant literature. Naturally, you’ll be adding to this list during the process of researching and drafting your paper. 3. What questions will guide the study? Again, the paper is a literature-based paper, not an empirical study based on original research through interviews or observation–save that for your Co-Op project! But, as with any research, your proposal must include a set of core questions that will frame–and narrow–your reading, analysis, and critical discussion of the problem. I have provided a previously written rough draft proposal outline for reference. Please let me know if you need additional resources.

Hello Attached is the assignment description as well as three examples. It can’t go beyond 2 pages double spaced but the examples aren’t double spaced…I think 400-500 is most important. The topic can be about the need to change policy from regarding English Language Learners as Emerging Bilinguals instead due to how they are viewed and thus treated. I am reading an electronic book called Educating Emergent Bilinguals: Policies, Programs, and Practices for English Learners by Ofelia Garcia and Jo Anne Kleifgen. I can grant you access to the book, which in Chapter one discusses the need to change their label. But ultimately a policy letter written to the Newton Public Schools Board of Education stating the need for Bilingual Education to be expanded. The 2002 law outlawing bilingual education in the state of Massachusetts was overturned in 2017. Now we need to expand bilingual education for the benefit of all students….and so on.

Instructions I would like a conference proposal about the need for bilingual edu

Instructions I would like a conference proposal about the need for bilingual education in our schools in order to address the needs of ’emergent bilinguals’. The goal of this assignment is to write a conference or a grant proposal that addresses a topic/issue in TESOL that you have studied during your graduate program. You may explore the same topic/issue as in your book study group. While more information can be found in the Module 6 Video Introduction as well as the attached annotated resources, note that if you have a conference or grant in mind that is different from the ones featured in the examples, I encourage you to create a proposal following their guidelines as opposed to the ones I provided. In other words, this assignment can be treated as practice for the real thing, or it can be treated as a first draft with the intention to actually submit the conference or grant proposal in the near future. If you are deviating from the examples I’ve provided to address the guidelines of another organization, please reach out to me, as I want to make sure you’re not writing more than necessary. For the purpose of this assignment, you should only be writing between 250-500 words. Attached are the directions as well as an annotated example.
