I don’t know how to handle this Political Science question and need guidance.Discussion Forum ::: Due February 21st at 8 amBy this point, you have read and watched lectures about two types of agencies within the UN system: data gathering and resource allocation. There are other types as well, such as regulatory (IMO or IMF).See below to select among. Select ANY example of BOTH types and compare and contrast their structure, functions and budgets. A good example of this would be to compare UNICEF and the WHO…remember…agencies may fit into multiple categories and do different things across a range of issues. Most have multiple functions as part of their overall directives. For example, how would the IMO regulate the oceans without gathering data first. Or, how would the FAO allocate farming resources without vast studies and data collection on, for example, pesticides. Then, suggest 3 ways that these agencies could improve their structure and/or functions with regard to their specific directives. Budget is always an issue. Please do not suggest a $10 million solution for a 5 cent problem. Try to be creative. Also, consider if it is possible for agencies to share expertise and knowledge better. This assignment is very much like what you would do as a staff member for a UN agency. Support all of your claims. Less than 1200 words (but more than 1000 words), but more than 7 sources, including both textbooks and 3 Moodle articles from REAL sources. Peer-reviewed articles are best. =============There are currently 15 specialized agencies (You select any two):Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO)
International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO)
International Fund for Agricultural Development (IFAD)
International Labour Organization (ILO)
International Maritime Organization (IMO)
International Monetary Fund (IMF)
